I give the Simpson 31" Extension wand 5 stars for doing what it is supposed to without any defects. It keeps my back more upright as it has a longer reach... especially if using a surface cleaner. However I did knock a star off my rating for receiving an item that has been apparently used and returned as the packaging was dirty on the inside and it was easy to slide it out from the bottom.
